Monti’s love for food began at an early age in her grandmother’s kitchen in Mississippi. It was there, surrounded by the smells and flavors of Southern cooking, that her passion for food first took root. Whether helping her grandmother with recipes or experimenting with her own, Monti learned that food was more than nourishment—it was a way to bring people together.
That sense of connection and community stuck with her as she grew older, eventually inspiring her to launch Top Tier Food Truck. Combining her love for Smashburgers with the Southern desserts she grew up making, Monti created a menu that is both nostalgic and unique.
“When I decided to start Top Tier Food Truck, I wanted it to be more than just a business,” Monti explains. “I wanted it to be a way to share my love of food and the good vibes that come with it. And what better way to do that than on wheels?”
Taking the Leap: Turning a Passion into a Business
Launching a food truck was no small feat, especially as a busy mother and military spouse. But Monti embraced the challenge, pouring her heart and soul into creating a brand that reflected her values. From designing a menu to setting up her kitchen on wheels, every step of the process was a labor of love.
Top Tier Food Truck officially hit the road six months ago, and the response has been overwhelming. Monti’s Smashburgers have quickly gained a loyal following, and her desserts keep customers coming back for more.
Milestones Worth Celebrating
Though still a young business, Top Tier Food Truck has already made an impressive impact. In just six months, Monti and her team have served over 10,000 Smashburgers and have been fully booked nearly every week. From local events to private bookings, they’ve had the opportunity to meet incredible people and share their love of food with the community.
“It’s been amazing to see how quickly we’ve grown,” Monti says. “Every time someone tells me they love our food, it reminds me why I started this journey in the first place.”
